| Obverse description | The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue at center, depicting a circular seal inscribed PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE enclosing a stylized floral or snowflake motif, surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by two crossed native war clubs (patu). The entire design is struck into a fragment of the Nantan iron meteorite, giving the field a distinctive grey, striated texture with natural fissures and mineral inclusions. The legend NIUE ISLAND arcs along the left periphery and ONE DOLLAR along the right, with the date 2024 appearing in the lower exergual area. |
