Reverse description Full-length portrait of Master Yoda, the iconic Jedi Master from the Star Wars™ universe, depicted in a detailed illustrative engraving style. The figure stands three-quarter facing to the left, robed in flowing Jedi garments and leaning upon a gimer stick, set against a richly detailed background evoking the swampy terrain of Dagobah with hanging vines and twisted roots. The composition fills the entire rectangular field with fine line work rendered in high relief against a polished silver ground. The 'agoro' retailer mark appears in the lower right of the field.

Additional information

Niue has operated a licensed bullion and novelty coin program since the 1990s, contracting the Perth Mint and others to produce collector pieces under its sovereign authority — a revenue stream that dwarfs anything the island's 1,600-odd residents could generate through conventional taxation. The Star Wars licensing agreement with Disney/Lucasfilm places this issue within a long-running series that began appearing on Niuean coinage over a decade ago.

At 5 grams, this sits at the lower end of the program's silver output — closer to a medallion in heft than a traditional crown-sized issue.
