| Reverse description | The reverse bears a richly colorized representation of the Karelian Birch Egg, one of the Imperial Fabergé Easter eggs, its surface faithfully reproducing the characteristic warm golden-brown figuring of Karelian birch veneer. An ornate guilloche band in gilt tone encircles the egg at its equator, at the centre of which a faceted blue Swarovski crystal is inset as a decorative accent. The oval flan is enclosed within an elaborate high-relief border of acanthus scrollwork, executed in alternating polished and frosted silver finish. A stylized imperial crown device occupies the lower field beneath the egg, and the inscription «Fabergé Eggs» is presented within a cartouche at the base of the coin. |
