| Reverse description | A full-colour effigy of a roaring Tyrannosaurus Rex dominates the left portion of the field, depicted in close-up with jaws agape revealing rows of teeth, rendered in naturalistic amber and brown tones. To the right, the iconic Jurassic Park wooden gate is shown in relief against a grey field, with the franchise logotype JURASSIC PARK appearing in bold red and yellow lettering above the gate. The copyright notice © UCS LLC and Amblin is inscribed in small lettering along the upper right rim. |

| Additional information |
Niue has operated as a prolific licensing hub for themed commemorative coinage since the 1990s, issuing coins under agreements with major entertainment properties while the New Zealand dollar remains its actual circulating currency. The Jurassic Park franchise, now controlled by Universal following its complicated rights history through Amblin and Universal's various restructurings, is among dozens of IP licenses Niue has monetized for the collector market rather than circulation.
Copper-nickel at this weight and diameter targets the budget end of the themed commemorative spectrum — collectible by price point, not by metal content.
