Obverse description Uncrowned right-facing effigy of King Charles III occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and facial features after the portrait by Joel Iskowitz, whose initials 'JC' appear below the bust. The surrounding legend reads 'CHARLES III' on the left and 'NIUE 2024' at the top, with 'ONE DOLLAR' continuing on the right, all separated by raised bullet points. The lower arc bears the inscription '1oz 999 SILVER', likewise flanked by bullet points. The mirrored proof field provides a sharp contrast to the frosted portrait.

Reverse description The reverse features a dramatically composed, rose-gold-coloured gryphon in high relief, dominating the field with outstretched wings, a crowned eagle's head with open beak, and powerful leonine foreclaws extended over a riveted wooden shield. A smaller gryphon passant is depicted in relief on a circular boss at the centre of the shield. To the upper left, a scroll cartouche bearing the legend 'GRYPHON' is affixed to an anchor, rendered in silver contrast against the rose-gold coloured mythical beast. The selective rose-gold plating applied to the gryphon creates a striking two-tone effect against the proof silver field and shield elements.
