Obverse description Central field bears the Public Seal of Niue, depicted as a crowned circular escutcheon featuring a stylised pandanus tree motif, surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by crossed palm fronds on a ribbon scroll bearing the Niuean motto 'ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI'. The seal is enclosed within an ornate decorative frame of scrollwork and beaded borders, with stylised pumpkin motifs positioned at cardinal points evoking the Cinderella fairy-tale theme. The denomination 'ONE DOLLAR' arcs above in the upper field, the date '2023' appears below, and the purity mark 'Ag 999' is inscribed to the right of the central device. The Lithuanian Mint mark appears to the left. The antiqued finish gives the obverse a rich, aged appearance.

Reverse description The reverse presents a richly detailed, partially coloured high-relief depiction of Cinderella as the central figure, rendered in a dual narrative composition: the left half portrays her in uncoloured antiqued silver as a humble maiden, while the right half transitions to vibrant colour — a flowing pink ballgown with gilded, wind-swept golden hair adorned with crystal stone accents at the crown. She is shown in a dynamic turning pose, one glass slipper visible beneath the swirling skirt. The background on the left features relief-engraved domestic scenes including doves, mice, and floral elements set against a large clock face, while the right background is finished in deep purple enamel with a gilded clock surround and a castle silhouette beneath a full moon. Three inset crystal stones accent the composition.
