背面描述 The reverse presents a highly detailed, gold-highlighted view of the Gothic Church of St. Anne and the adjacent Bernardine Monastery complex in Vilnius, Lithuania, rendered in fine relief against a silver field. The intricate stellar Gothic vaulting of the interior is depicted in the upper portion of the design, creating a dramatic architectural backdrop to the exterior facade below. The church's ornate brick towers and pinnacles are depicted with exceptional precision, with selective gold gilding emphasizing the architectural grandeur of the ensemble. The curved legend ŠV. ONOS BAŽNYČIA IR BERNARDINŲ VIENUOLYNAS arcs along the upper border in Latin script.

附加信息

The Church of St. Anne and Bernardine Complex in Vilnius is a Gothic and late-Gothic brick ensemble begun in the late 15th century, surviving intact largely because Napoleon, on his 1812 march toward Moscow, reportedly declared St. Anne's so beautiful he wished he could carry it back to Paris on the palm of his hand. Whether apocryphal or not, the French occupation left both structures standing while much of Vilnius was stripped for military use.

Niue has issued silver dollars of this format under licensing arrangements since the 1990s, functioning as a bullion-adjacent collector vehicle with no meaningful domestic circulation.
