| Obverse description | Central field features the Public Seal of Niue, a crowned circular cartouche bearing a stylized plant motif encircled by the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE, flanked below by two crossed swords and the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI on a ribbon scroll. The denomination ONE DOLLAR arcs across the upper field in bold raised lettering. The date 2023 appears in the lower field. The entire design is framed by an ornate border of alternating stylized butterflies and arrow-shaped motifs in high relief, characteristic of the Art Nouveau aesthetic of the series. |
