Beschrijving voorzijde Uncrowned right-facing effigy of King Charles III, the first portrait used on Australian coinage, modelled by Dominic Token, depicted in civilian dress with a jacket and open collar. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the upper left periphery, with a small separating dot, followed by AUSTRALIA continuing along the upper right. The date 2025 appears vertically along the right field, and the denomination 1 DOLLAR is inscribed along the lower periphery between two small dots. Aanvullende informatie

Part of the Royal Australian Mint's ongoing "Bush Tucker" themed dollar program, this release continues a series that has drawn mild controversy for prioritizing novelty collectibles over general circulation issues. The strawberry in question refers to the native Rubus parvifolius — not the introduced commercial variety — a distinction the Mint has leaned into as a point of botanical specificity.
