| 裏面の説明 | A colour-printed depiction of a 1925 Ford Model T touring car, rendered in blue-grey tones and shown in three-quarter view occupying the centre-left of the field. The background features an incuse tyre-tread pattern extending across the lower and right portions of the field, evoking the road surface. To the upper right, the commemorative Ford centenary logo — incorporating the numeral 100, the Ford script oval, and the word YEARS — is applied in colour. The legend 100 YEARS OF FORD AUSTRALIA 2025 arcs along the upper periphery, while MODEL T - 1925 is inscribed along the lower right field. |

Released as part of Australia's ongoing commemorative dollar program, this piece marks the centenary of Ford's Model T assembly operations in Geelong, Victoria, which began in 1925 — making Australia one of the earliest countries outside North America to produce Ford vehicles domestically. The Geelong plant initially assembled cars from imported American components, a practice that shaped Australian tariff and manufacturing policy for decades.
It is also among the earliest Australian coins to feature the first portrait of Charles III, following the transition from Elizabeth II's effigy after her death in September 2022.
