Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Charles III facing left, modelled by engraver Dominic Taylor, whose initials DT appear in the lower field to the right of the portrait. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the upper left rim and AUSTRALIA along the upper right rim, with the denomination 1 DOLLAR inscribed along the lower rim. Two small pellets flank the base of the portrait on either side, serving as separators between the legend segments.

Reverse description Central depiction of a tall obelisk war memorial set against a plain field, flanked on either side by a draped flag displayed at half-mast on a flagpole. An eternal flame burns at the base of the monument. The commemorative legend LEST WE FORGET appears in the upper field, while the date 25 APRIL and the year 2024 are inscribed in the lower field. The Perth Mint privy mark P125 and the mintmaster initials WR are also present in the legend.
