| Aanvullende informatie |
The FG-X XR8 Falcon was discontinued in October 2016, ending a nameplate that had run continuously since 1960. This dollar was struck in 2025 as part of the RAM's ongoing commemorative automotive series, which has drawn consistent collector interest from a demographic that overlaps only partially with traditional numismatists. The Charles III obverse dates this coin's portrait to the post-2022 effigy approval — the first Australian coinage to carry his likeness entered circulation in late 2023 after the new portrait by sculptor Martin Jennings cleared the Royal Household.
