Obverse description Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III in left-facing profile, rendered in high relief after the first Australian portrait by Darryl Torckler. The truncated bust shows the King in civilian dress with a collar and lapel. The circular legend reads 'CHARLES III AUSTRALIA' around the upper field, flanked by two raised dots at the mid-horizon, with the specifications '1oz 9999 Ag 1 DOLLAR' inscribed along the lower periphery. The engraver's initials 'DT' appear discretely at the base of the truncation.
