Aanvullende informatie

Sierra Leone's late-1990s dollar series was a frankly commercial venture — these collector-targeted pieces were produced under license for the international souvenir market and saw no meaningful domestic circulation. Darwin makes an odd fit for a West African nation with no historical connection to him, which is precisely the point: the issuer is incidental.
