| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is entirely covered by an elaborate intaglio-printed guilloche in brown, composed of a large central horizontal oval medallion flanked by symmetrical lozenge-shaped lathe-work panels, all filled with intricate engine-turned floral and geometric micropatterns. Small scrollwork ornaments punctuate the lateral edges. Two cancellation punch-holes are visible at lower left and lower centre. |
