备注

The 1967 dollar was issued specifically to mark the centennial of Confederation, making it the only commemorative note in the Bank of Canada's regular circulation series up to that point. Both the Canadian Bank Note Company and British American Bank Note Company shared the print run — an arrangement that was itself unusual, reflecting the sheer volume required for a note intended to reach every Canadian household during the centennial year.

Two distinct varieties exist: one carries a standard 7-digit serial number, the other a special centennial serial beginning with the digits "1867" followed by "1967." The commemorative serials were heavily saved by the public, making circulated examples of that variety considerably harder to find than uncirculated ones.
