Obverse description A vignette of pink Vanda Miss Joaquim orchids occupies the left and centre of the note against a fine guilloche underprint, with a circular watermark space at left. To the right, the Singapore state arms — a shield supported by a lion and a tiger above the motto banner — is rendered in intaglio within an elaborate lathe-work surround. The Minister for Finance signature appears below centre, accompanied by a red Chinese seal chop, with the legal tender clause printed along the lower margin.
