Description de l’avers	The obverse is printed in red and cream tones, with an intricate guilloche underprint incorporating the Bank of Guyana watermark seal at centre. To the right, a circular vignette presents an intaglio rendering of Kaieteur Falls, captioned below. At left and lower-left, ornate rosette and fan-pattern guilloche panels frame oval $1 denominator medallions. Two manuscript signatures appear at centre-lower, attributed to the Governor and the Minister of Finance respectively, with their titles printed beneath in letterpress.

Description du revers	The reverse is rendered in green tones with a central vignette of the Black Bush Polder agricultural landscape to the left and a rice harvesting scene to the right, both executed in intaglio. Fine guilloche borders frame the composition on all sides, with the denomination and issuer name inscribed in bold letterpress at top and bottom respectively.
