Obverse description The obverse is printed in red and cream tones, with an intricate guilloche underprint incorporating the Bank of Guyana watermark seal at centre. To the right, a circular vignette presents an intaglio rendering of Kaieteur Falls, captioned below. At left and lower-left, ornate rosette and fan-pattern guilloche panels frame oval $1 denominator medallions. Two manuscript signatures appear at centre-lower, attributed to the Governor and the Minister of Finance respectively, with their titles printed beneath in letterpress.
