备注	Hong Kong's wartime dollar notes were printed in England against the expectation of a long, stable colonial administration. Bradbury Wilkinson's New Malden facility had supplied the colony's currency for years, and the P#316 series continued that arrangement — though shipments became increasingly hazardous as the Pacific situation deteriorated through 1941. Japanese forces occupied Hong Kong on 25 December 1941, and the military administration immediately suppressed British-issued currency in favor of military yen. Many P#316 notes still in circulation or treasury reserve were confiscated or rendered worthless overnight. The occupation lasted until August 1945.
