Reverse description Printed entirely in green, the reverse centres on a detailed intaglio vignette of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, viewed from the front across the lawn, with the Peace Tower rising prominently at centre. The title DOMINION OF CANADA is lettered in a banner along the upper border, and the denomination ONE DOLLAR and numeral 1 appear in the lower panel. Intricate guilloche rosette panels frame the central vignette on both sides.
