Reverse description A bold American eagle in full flight, wings spread and body facing left, depicted soaring across an otherwise entirely plain, unadorned field — a deliberately artistic and neoclassical composition. The peripheral legend .UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. arcs around the upper rim, while the denomination ONE DOLLAR is inscribed along the lower rim, both legends separated by periods. A beaded border frames the design.
