| Obverse description | Within the copper centre, the crowned coat of arms of Redonda — depicting three birds in the upper half and a horizontal bar with a single bird below — is set within an oval wreath, surmounted by a royal crown. The date 20-09 flanks the shield to left and right respectively. The legend REDONDA appears in the lower portion of the copper-nickel outer ring, which is bordered on both edges by a ring of beads. A small cross ornament appears at the top of the ring. |
