| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features an elaborate abstract design composed of interlocking elliptical curves forming a trefoil-like knot motif at the centre, surrounded by a ring of five-pointed stars arranged in a circular pattern along the mid-field. The design is executed in high relief with fine guilloche-style engraving on the central knot element. | Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a coloured inset depicting two overlapping German 100 Deutsche Mark banknotes (series 1951–1965) bearing the portrait of Jakob Muffel, rendered in full colour against the coin's metal surface. Behind the banknote inset, an engraved panoramic cityscape — consistent with the city of Nuremberg — occupies the upper field. The surrounding field is decorated with intersecting curved lines and geometric elements. The legend 100.-BANKNOTE is inscribed along the upper rim, with JAKOB MUFFEL and DEUTSCHLAND 1951-1965 arranged along the left and lower periphery respectively. |
