Reverse description The reverse presents a three-line bilingual legend combining Arabic and Devanagari scripts in the central field, similarly divided by a horizontal register line. The upper two lines in Arabic read 'al-Sultan Mahmud Shah / ibn Latif Shah', identifying the Mughal sovereign and his lineage. The lower line in Devanagari script reads 'Rau Sri Dhesalji', naming Rao Desalji I, the ruling chief of Kutch under whose authority the coin was issued. The hammered flan exhibits a slightly irregular, beveled edge with patches of green cuprous patina visible across the surface.
