Reverse description Central field displays a multi-line Arabic Kufic legend within a plain inner circle, arranged in three lines reading: the word Lillāh (to God) at the top, the Prophetic formula Muḥammad rasūl Allāh in the middle register, and the Abbasid caliph's honorific title al-Qāʾim bi-amr Allāh at the base, acknowledging Abbasid suzerainty. The coin is struck on an irregular, flan with a clipped edge, typical of Mirdasid hammered billon issues. Broad areas of cuprous green patination and surface encrustation are present throughout the field.
