1 Dirham - Nuh b. Wahsudan Ardabil

Beschrijving voorzijde	Central field contains a four-line Arabic Kalima inscription reading the Shahada in its abbreviated form, with the name of the Sallarid ruler Nuh b. Wahsudan inscribed below. The central legends are enclosed within a single circular border separating them from the marginal legend. The margin bears the mint and date formula in Arabic, recording the striking of this dirham at Ardabil in the year 355 AH. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, as is characteristic of hammered Islamic silver dirhams of the period. The die is well-centered relative to the flan, with the legends generally clear and legible.
