| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Kufic Arabic religious inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a double linear border. An inner marginal band and an outer marginal legend in Kufic script encircle the central inscription, separated by a dotted or beaded border. The coin exhibits the characteristic flat, irregular flan of Abbasid-style hammered silver dirhams, with slightly uneven edges. A piercing hole is visible at the upper left, indicating secondary use as a pendant or jewelry element. The overall style follows the epigraphic dirham tradition with no figural imagery. |
