| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears the large Arabic numeral '١' (one) above the Arabic word 'درهم' (Dirham), together forming the denomination in bold relief. A circular Arabic legend reading 'الامارات العربية المتحدة' (United Arab Emirates) arcs across the upper portion of the coin. The Latin legend 'UNITED ARAB EMIRATES' runs along the lower periphery, separated from the Arabic inscription by small decorative stops. The design is austere and typographic, with no pictorial elements, presenting the denomination and issuer name as the sole motifs within a plain field. |

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, founded in 1965, was among the earliest formal economic institutions established in the Trucial States — predating the UAE's federation by six years. This dirham was issued to mark the Chamber's fiftieth anniversary, part of a broader UAE practice of commissioning circulating commemoratives on significant institutional milestones rather than limiting such issues to precious metals or collector sets.
