The surface is worn and encrusted, consistent with a heavily circulated billon issue of the Qarakhanid period. |

The inner legend likely records the Shahada and the name of the Abbasid caliph, while the outer marginal band carries supplementary titulature or mint and date formulae. The die workmanship is typical of Eastern Qarakhanid provincial minting, with irregular flan edges and variable strike depth. Wear and porosity affect legibility across much of the reverse field. |
