Obverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic religious legend arranged in horizontal registers, executed in angular Kufic script characteristic of Eastern Islamic coinage of the 11th century. The inscription occupies the majority of the flan, with individual words separated by decorative dividers. The die is poorly centered on the irregular flan, resulting in partial legend visible at the margins. The surface is worn and encrusted, consistent with a heavily circulated billon issue of the Qarakhanid period.

Reverse description Central field containing a multi-line Arabic inscription in Kufic script, surrounded by a circular border and an outer marginal legend occupying the entire periphery of the flan. The inner legend likely records the Shahada and the name of the Abbasid caliph, while the outer marginal band carries supplementary titulature or mint and date formulae. The die workmanship is typical of Eastern Qarakhanid provincial minting, with irregular flan edges and variable strike depth. Wear and porosity affect legibility across much of the reverse field.
