Reverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Kufic Arabic legend arranged within concentric linear circles, referencing the ruling authority and religious formulae in the tradition of Umayyad-derived Maghrebi dirhams. A decorative scalloped outer border frames the inscription, and the entire design follows the Andalusian-type layout with the text distributed in horizontal registers. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic hammered fabric, with some weakness and porosity consistent with the period and region of issue.
