Obverse description Centrally arranged multi-line Arabic religious legend occupying the field within a decorative inner circle, surrounded by a scalloped or beaded border. The inscription, rendered in Kufic script, is distributed across several lines in the characteristic Andalusian-Maghrebi dirham style. The flan is irregular and shows typical hammered manufacture, with the legend partially weak at the periphery due to the uneven planchet.
