| Obverse description | Central field occupied by three horizontal lines of Arabic religious legend arranged in parallel registers, typical of Abbasid-style dirham design. The legends are enclosed within a single-line inner circle, with a partial marginal legend running along the periphery in Arabic script. The flan is irregular and shows a small clip or break at the left edge, consistent with emergency or rebellion coinage. The strike is somewhat uneven, reflecting the hasty production associated with the Jund rebellions in Ifriqya. |

| Additional information |
In 824, a series of military revolts shook the Aghlabid emirate of Ifriqya, with jund troops — the garrison soldiers of Arab descent settled across Tunisia — rising against Ziyadat Allah I in a prolonged and nearly successful challenge to his rule. The rebellions lasted until around 827, when Ziyadat Allah suppressed them partly by redirecting the army toward the conquest of Sicily, a calculated outlet for military energy that proved historically consequential.
Anonymous coinage struck by rebel factions is exceptionally rare; the "x" suffix on the Album reference signals an unattributed or provisional classification, indicating this type remains incompletely catalogued in the specialist literature.
