| Obverse description | The obverse presents the classic epigraphic style of Umayyad silver coinage, entirely devoid of figurative imagery. The central field contains a four-line Arabic Shahada inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a plain inner circle. A circular marginal legend runs within the outer border, recording the mint name and date of issue.
