| Reverse description | A central multi-line Arabic inscription is enclosed within a polylobe of six segments, bearing the Shahada and the names of the first four Caliphs. A secondary inscription band surrounds the central lobe, bearing the Basmala. The overall composition is characteristic of Rasulid religious coinage, emphasizing Sunni Islamic orthodoxy through the invocation of divine names and revered companions of the Prophet. The calligraphy is rendered in a bold, compressed Kufic-influenced style typical of medieval Yemeni hammered silver. |
