| Obverse description | Densely composed field filled with multi-line Arabic Kufic or Naskh inscription radiating from a central point, arranged in an interlocking cruciform or cartouche layout typical of Zaydi Rassid coinage. The legends, rendered in stylized calligraphy, occupy nearly the entire flan. A beaded border encircles the design at the periphery. The irregular planchet, characteristic of hammered medieval Islamic silver dirhams, imparts slight variation to the coin's outline. The Rassid imamate of Yemen operated from the highland stronghold of Sa'da, and their coinage reflects a dynasty that governed intermittently across several centuries through a combination of Zaydi religious authority and tribal alliance. Al-Nasir Muhammad ibn Abdallah Huth is among the lesser-documented Rassid rulers, and dirhams struck under his name are correspondingly scarce in institutional collections. Album 1083 covers a narrow slice of Rassid silver production, and examples attributable to this specific imam rarely surface outside Yemeni or Gulf regional auction material.
