Reverse description Central field containing a multi-line Arabic legend in naskh script, enclosed within a plain inner circle, conveying the ruler's titles and religious formulae. A circular marginal legend in Arabic runs along the outer border, separated from the central field by a beaded or plain line. The reverse presents a somewhat uneven strike with areas of weak relief typical of hammered dirhams of the Rasulid period, and the flan exhibits the characteristic irregular clipping of hand-struck Yemeni silver coinage of the fourteenth century.
