Obverse description Central field bearing the Islamic profession of faith (Shahada) in multiple lines of Arabic Kufic script, characteristic of Abbasid-style dirhams. A partial inner circle border frames the central inscription, with additional marginal legend in Arabic encircling the field. The lettering is bold and angular in early Kufic style, with visible die-striking irregularities typical of hammered coinage. The overall layout follows the standard Abbasid epigraphic dirham convention, with religious formulae occupying the central area.
