Obverse description The coat of arms of the State of Kelantan occupies the central field, depicting a royal crown surmounted by a star at the top, flanked by two rampant deer as supporters on either side. The escutcheon bears a crescent moon, a star, and crossed ceremonial weapons, with Arabic-script Jawi inscriptions on a decorative ribbon below. A raised inner circle frames the arms. The circular legend reads '1 DIRHAM KERAJAAN NEGERI KELANTAN' along the upper arc and 'GOVERNMENT OF KELANTAN' along the lower arc, with '999.0 SILVER' inscribed on the right side of the field.

Reverse description The mintmark 'WIM' (World Islamic Mint) appears prominently in the upper portion of the field. At the center, the Islamic Shahada — the declaration of faith — is inscribed in Arabic script within a circular border. Surrounding the central circle, a Quranic verse (Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:52) is arranged as a circular legend in the outer field, rendered in elegant Arabic calligraphy.
