Obverse description The crowned coat of arms of the Principality of Andorra is displayed centrally within a decorative semi-open circle. The arms are flanked by supporting figures and surmounted by a crown, with the national motto VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR (United virtue is stronger) inscribed along the border. The denomination '1 D.' and the date '2012' appear in the legend surrounding the shield.
