Opmerkingen

Kazneno-Popravni Dom u Smrekovnici was a Yugoslav-era correctional facility in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prison scrip of this type was issued for internal canteen use — inmates received it in lieu of cash, which was prohibited from circulating inside. The 1999 date places this squarely in the post-Dayton period, when the facility was operating under the fragmented administrative structures of the newly formed Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Surviving examples are rare almost by definition: low print runs, rough handling, and no collector infrastructure at the point of issue.
