| Description de l’avers | Central field features a divided heraldic shield, the dexter side bearing horizontal bars and the sinister side displaying a circular annulet, representing the arms of Wallachia. The shield is set within a beaded inner circle. Surrounding the shield, a circular Cyrillic legend in medieval letterforms reads the name and title of Voivode Vladislav, running continuously around the coin's periphery. The die workmanship is characteristic of 14th-century Wallachian hammered coinage, with an irregular flan and bold, if somewhat crude, letter punches. |
