The Hazaraspids ruled Lorestan as vassals through a succession of overlapping loyalties — first the Ilkhanids, then the Injuids, then the Muzaffarids — making each dated issue a small record of which power they were nominally acknowledging at the time of striking. Nur-Award Aydhaj governed during a period when Muzaffarid pressure from the south was tightening, and the dynasty's room for independent action was narrowing fast.

A#2293 is sparsely represented in major collections, and attributions within this short reign window often rest on a handful of reference specimens.
