Reverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription in several horizontal registers, recording the ruler's name and titles alongside the Abbasid caliph's name, in accordance with standard Seljuq dinar convention. An outer marginal legend, partially visible due to the irregular flan, runs between concentric linear borders. The script is angular and deeply struck, consistent with the Kufic-derived style employed on Seljuq gold coinage of the late fifth century AH. Minor flat areas and die wear are present, typical of hammered issues of this period.
