| 背面描述 | Purely epigraphic reverse displaying three horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic script within a plain circular border, struck on an irregular hammered flan. The central field bears the name of the Khazrunid ruler Mas'ud ibn Wanudin, flanked above by the Basmala and below by the mint and date formula. The inscription records the mint city of Sijilmasa and the Hijri year 440, corresponding to AD 1048-1049. The lettering is rendered in bold raised Kufic, consistent with the epigraphic style of North African gold coinage of this period. No ornamental devices or figural elements are present. |
