The king extends his left hand over a flaming altar in an offering gesture while holding a long spear upright in his right hand. Legend in Bactrian script runs around the field. |

| Description du revers | Full-length standing figure of Hephaistos (the Greek god of fire and craftsmanship, identified with a Kushan fire deity) facing left, shown with a radiating halo around his head and wearing a diadem, long gown, and cloak. He raises his right hand in a gesture of benediction or greeting, while his left hand holds a sword. A Kushan tamgha device appears in the left field. The figure is rendered in the distinctive syncretic Hellenistic-Kushan artistic style characteristic of the reign of Kanishka I. |
