| Opis rewersu | Central square field filled with multiple horizontal lines of Arabic script in Maghribi style, carrying the ruler's name and titles along with pious formulae affirming Nasrid legitimacy. A double linear frame encloses the central square, and the surrounding marginal annular band contains a further Arabic inscription running continuously around the inner edge of the beaded rim. Lateral panels flanking the central square bear additional vegetal or epigraphic ornament. The reverse follows the same rigorous epigraphic layout as the obverse, consistent with the square-in-circle format canonical to Andalusian and North African gold dinars of the Nasrid period. |
