| Opmerkingen |
The "Savet za promet robom" — the Council for Commodity Trade of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia Government — issued these industrial coupons in 1951 as part of a rationing apparatus still running in the austere post-war economy. These are not banknotes in any conventional sense; they functioned as controlled-allocation vouchers within the state distribution system, entitling industrial enterprises or workers to specific goods rather than circulating freely.
Yugoslavia's break with the Soviet Cominform in 1948 forced rapid economic improvisation, and instruments like this bon reflect the bureaucratic patchwork that followed. Collector interest is genuine but thin — most were destroyed after redemption.
