| Obverse description | The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious legend arranged in horizontal registers across the coin's face, executed in a bold, angular Kufic-influenced script characteristic of Chagatai Khanate coinage. The shahada is rendered in three lines reading 'There is no god but God / Muhammad is the Messenger of God / He sent him with guidance.' The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with hand-hammered production. No border or decorative framing elements are present, the inscriptions filling the field to its margins. |
